I would like to welcome Linda Kelly to Robert’s Custom Framers Gallery .Linda is a welcome addition to our growing lineup of artists. She is our first sculptor .Her bronze works are exceptional with great attention to detail and a wonderful patina and finish to each piece.Linda draws inspiration from horse and rider as well as the world around them.In the short time some of her works have been in the gallery they have received much admiration and interest from our visitors.I do think they are worth the trip down to the gallery to see .

Spring 2011

As spring approaches I would like to announce some new additions and events planned for the months to come. Our desire to enlarge our gallery offerings continues with the addition of two artists, Jenny Mohr and Dave Griffiths .Jenny’s art is inspired by her lifes experience and are rich with strikiing imagery and emotion. Her work is achieved with a seamless joining of computer and hands on images.

Dave’s a watercolour painter who has a great grasp of the intricacies of what I think is a very difficult medium. He is from South Africa and has a vast store of images he can draw from. I will try to add Daves web address to our links.

We will be having a show opening for Jenny Mohr at the end of April so please join our mailing list and we can be sure of letting you know the details of this and any other special event.

Dani Lachuk has completed a new painting and we hope to have it in the shop very soon.

As we go deeper into spring and you get involved in spring cleaning and renovations remember we can assist you by rematting reframing or framing anew piece of art to finish your project .If you would like to stop by the shop and ask for any ideas or options Lynne or I would gladly spend some time to help .So stop by and have a look.

As we approach the holiday season at Robert’s Custom Framers our framing department is starting to get busy with your Christmas projects.

We are stretching your needlework, framing your paintings and prints, and creating special memorabilia boxes for your hockey jerseys and box frames for those special keepsakes, these are just some of the things keeping us busy. We are also proud to have added a number of original works created by local Okanagan Artists. I am sure that as you compile those gift ideas you will have some special items that need to be framed or kept safe in treasured box frames.

In the next few weeks we look forward to seeing all of our old friends and new acquaintances at Robert’s Custom Framers. If you are looking for ideas for someone special, stop by the shop and we will personally help you pick out that special gift. For the person on your shopping list that has everything, we can solve your gift giving problem with a Gift Certificate to have that great Holiday photo or work of art framed at their leisure.
